Bandstanders 2010 Raffle
FAQ’s - Ticket Purchasers
Please see the complete rules below of the Bandstanders 2011 Raffle
Where can I see the car? The car will be featured at various sales events throughout the St. Louis community. In addition, the vehicle can be viewed at Weber Chevrolet (12015 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141) or online at www.weberchev.com, stock number 53308.
Is it possible to get a Camaro with a different color, trim package or more options? Subject to availability, Weber Chevrolet has indicated they will do everything they can to accommodate the winners preferences, whether that be for a higher MSRP Camaro or even a different type of vehicle. Winner would be required to pay any price difference and no refunds would be possible for a lower value vehicle.
Will I be required to pay income taxes on any of the prizes? You should consult your tax advisor. Winners are required to pay all taxes and fees. Taxes and fees may include but are not limited to sales taxes, income taxes, registration fees, license fees, and inspection fees, if applicable, and are the sole responsibility of the winner.
How will proceeds of the raffle be used? All net proceeds, after costs, will be used to support the Lindbergh Band programs, including sending the band to the 2011 Tournament of Roses parade.
Do I need to be present at the drawing to win? No
How many tickets will be sold? Only 5,000 tickets have been printed. Actual sales could be less, but not more.
When will the raffle ticket drawing occur?
We are currently finalizing plans, but expect the winning ticket to be drawn by the president of the Tournament of Roses parade on September 3, 2010, at an event at Lindbergh High School. Exact plans will be posted on www.spiritstlband.org by August 1, 2010.
Is the cost of my raffle ticket tax deductible?
Normally, general contributions to Bandstanders are tax deductible. However, you are receiving a benefit from the purchase of the ticket in the form of an opportunity to win a prize. As a result, we do not believe the cost of this raffle ticket is tax deductible. Of course, you should always consult your personal tax advisor.
I have additional questions, what should I do?
Please forward any questions to raffle@spiritstlband.org.
